Common questions
- How often should I regas my air conditioning?
- Most manufacturers recommend every two to three years. Gas naturally seeps out over time, and a low charge means the system works harder and cools less effectively.
- What refrigerant does my car use?
- Older vehicles typically use R134a; vehicles made from around 2017 onwards often use R1234yf. We handle both separately with the correct equipment. We will confirm which applies to your car before booking.
- Why is my air con not blowing cold?
- Low refrigerant is the most common cause, but compressor faults, condenser leaks, or a blocked cabin filter can also reduce cooling. We check the system before refilling so we are not masking a bigger issue. Call us on 07498 392333 or book an air con regas online.
