Why book with us

Peugeot Van Servicing & Repairs West Bromwich with clear advice.

Peugeot vans cover every size of job, from the small Partner used by electricians and plumbers to the Expert and the large Boxer favoured by builders and couriers. We service and repair the whole range in West Bromwich. That includes diagnostics, clutch and flywheel work, brakes, suspension and emissions faults. If the van earns your living, we understand that every day it is off the road costs you money.

The Boxer is usually plated at 3,500kg, so it needs a Class 7 MOT. Many local garages cannot test above 3,000kg, but we are a DVSA testing station, site S004609, authorised for both Class 4 and Class 7. Your Partner and Expert can be tested under Class 4 and your Boxer under Class 7, all at one address, with any repairs done in the same workshop and no second garage needed.

Peugeot vans have some well-known faults. Many BlueHDi models suffer AdBlue tank and pump failures that bring up a countdown to a no-start. Older HDi vans with an additive-type particulate filter need the additive fluid topping up at intervals, and the 1.6 HDi can lose its turbo if the oil feed gets blocked. Boxers often wear their clutch and dual-mass flywheel, especially when worked hard.

Every job starts with proper checks. We read the codes, look the van over and test the parts most likely to be at fault. Then we ring you with a clear price, explain what is urgent and what can wait, and only go ahead once you agree. If your van is racked out, ply-lined or converted, let us know when you book so we can plan the work.

We are on Cornwallis Road, West Bromwich, B70 9BY, near Wednesbury, Great Bridge and Oldbury. We have looked after local vehicles for more than seven years and hold a 4.9 star rating on Google. If your van fails its MOT with us, the retest within 10 working days is free. We are open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 5:30. Call 07498 392333 to book in.

Common questions

Can you MOT a Peugeot Boxer?
Yes. Most Boxers are plated at 3,500kg, which means a Class 7 MOT. We are authorised for Class 7 at our West Bromwich testing station, site S004609. Partners and Experts are usually under 3,000kg and take a Class 4 MOT, which we also carry out. Check the weight plate or your V5C if you are unsure.
My Peugeot van says AdBlue fault and is counting down. What do I do?
Book it in as soon as you can, because when the count reaches zero the van will not restart. On many BlueHDi vans the tank and pump unit is the cause, but a sensor or heater fault can show the same message. We test the system and confirm the failed part before ordering anything.
What is DPF additive and does my van need it?
Some older Peugeot HDi engines use a small tank of additive fluid that helps the particulate filter burn off soot. When it runs low, a warning comes on and the filter can block. Not every engine has one. We check which system your van uses and refill or repair it as needed.
Will an independent service affect my Peugeot warranty?
No. UK block exemption rules let you have a van serviced away from the dealer without affecting the manufacturer's warranty, as long as the schedule is followed and the parts and oils meet the right specification. We use the correct grades for your engine and record the work so your service history stays complete.
My Partner whistles and smokes. Is it the turbo?
It could be. On the 1.6 HDi, a blocked oil feed to the turbo is a known cause of failure, giving whistling, blue smoke and loss of power. Fitting a new turbo without clearing the feed can see it fail again. We check the oil supply and the cause before replacing anything.
How often should my Peugeot van be serviced?
It depends on the engine and the work the van does. As a rule, a working van should be serviced at least once a year or at Peugeot's mileage interval, whichever comes first. Give us your registration and we will check the schedule for your van.
Can I get a service and MOT on the same visit?
Yes. Booking both together means your van is off the road once instead of twice. If the MOT finds anything, we call you with a price before doing the work. If it fails with us, the retest within 10 working days is free.
Do you work on Boxer tippers and Lutons?
Yes. They share the Boxer's engine, gearbox, brakes and running gear, so we service and repair them in the same way as the panel van. Most are plated at 3,500kg and need a Class 7 MOT, which we carry out here.
How do I book my Peugeot van in?
Call us on 07498 392333 or book online. We are on Cornwallis Road, West Bromwich, B70 9BY, and open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 5:30. Give us the registration and tell us what the van is doing, and we will find a time that works.
